Let’s Make a Snowman | Body Parts ESL Lesson for Kindergarten | Song, Games & Activities

A fun winter-themed Body Parts ESL lesson for kindergarten and young learners, designed as a perfect follow-up to a first My Body / Body Parts lesson.

Students review and practise familiar body-part vocabulary while building a snowman, turning revision into a hands-on and highly visual lesson. The activities are designed especially for young learners and non-readers, so children can participate through pictures, movement, matching, games and song rather than relying on written English.

The lesson is built around “Let’s Make a Snowman” by Super Simple Songs and includes special singing props that allow the teacher and children to build the snowman piece by piece while singing.

Students practise body parts through a variety of interactive activities, including body-part flashcards, a matching puzzle, What’s Missing? clip cards, Throw the Die, an active memory game and a Spin the Wheel game where teams race to build their snowman.
