CVC words – Fix the broken heart

Fix the broken hearts – it’s a fun and effective way to practice CVC words. Your students will love it!

How to play the game?

Divide your students into two teams. Each team gets 10 plasters. Teams take turns finding pairs.

If the pair is correct: the team places the plaster on top of the heart.

If the pair is incorrect: the team keeps the plaster.

… and who wins? – The team which gets rid of the plasters first.

TIP: Use Velcro for the bottom part of the hearts and on a plaster, so students can ‘’fix’’ the broken hearts.
