A Pizza Party | Colors, Numbers & Food ESL Activities for Young Learners

Get ready for a Pizza Party! This fun, hands-on ESL resource was created in collaboration with Learning with Chiara and is designed especially for preschool and kindergarten learners.

The lesson introduces and practises colors, numbers and pizza toppings through simple, playful activities that are perfect for very young English learners. Children feed the hungry chef, identify and match colorful pizza slices, complete patterns, count pizza slices, sort toppings and create their own pizzas.

The 15-page resource includes 9 suggested activities, together with a step-by-step activity order to help teachers easily follow the lesson from beginning to end. The activities combine speaking, counting, sorting, matching, coloring and hands-on play, with simple language that can be adapted to different ages and abilities.

A colorful, low-prep lesson that gives young learners plenty of repetition while keeping them actively involved and having fun.
